She is very cold and calculating when it comes to school and socializing, treating teachers like business acquaintances and answering with short, simple answers powered by knowledge. But she has repressed temper, and is very manipulative when she wants things to go her way.

On a good note, she loves to laugh and have fun when she's not is school or around people that will look down on her father. She is usually careful out in public places where people who know her father will be so she doesn't embarrass him. But when she's with her friends, she is carefree.

BACKGROUND: Rikku is the cousin of Kyouya Ootori, as her mother is his aunt on his father's side. Her mother had been betrothed since before birth, but had the time to fall in love with the boy before she had to marry him. A year later, Rikku was born, and she was their pride and joy. Of course, her mom started off her early years by instilling the Ootori values into her young mind, making sure she learned them before it would be too late to teach her. Her father was different though; he just wanted to coddle and play with his daughter before she grew up and didn't want anything to do with him. The product was a playful, girl version of Kyouya, minus the competitive nature.

She was constantly surrounding by her family, and was there to suffer with Kyouya when his mother died. They were always together, and he did know how to laugh and have fun at one point in time. But, they started seeing less of each other as the years went on, and Kyouya grew colder, determined to become heir. Rikku's main mission was to not embarrass her family name, since she not only had to live up to Ootori standards, but Nomura standards as well. She had one best friend, Hatsuharu, and she was the only one that was allowed to stay over for the longest, since Rikku didn't want any other friends.

Of course, her mind changed as she grew older. She made many friends and acquaintances, but she and Hatsuharu stuck together like glue. It was just how they were. Now they are in the process of putting together a Hostess Club, because it wasn't fair that the boys could have a Host Club, but the girls couldn't. But, with the right connections and amount of complaining, you can always get what you want.
