Tamaki sighed as he looked out the window. It was a beautiful day outside... but he didn't feel like going out. And he didn't feel like having a whole crowd of ladies around him either. He'd rather prefer one-on-one time with Haruhi, but she was off with the twins or something. He was going to ask Kyouya if he wanted to do something fun, but he couldn't find him anywhere. He didn't even bother to ask Hunny or Mori. So he was just standing in the middle of the hallway, doing nothing. After only a few minutes, Tamaki started to get bored. Like, extremely bored. So bored, in fact, he started to see how high he could count in French.
"Let's see...un, deux, trois, quatre, cinq, six, sept, huit, neuf, dix... oh this is no use!" He said, slightly slamming his hands on the windowsill. He sighed and started to look outside again. When he started to wonder about the phrase "bored to death". Had anyone actually died of boredom? Were there symptoms? Did the hallway just suddenly get hotter? Tamaki shook his head. No. It was impossible... but it gave him something to think about.
Oh, how bored he was.

The hallway was partially full, though people cleared a path for Sayuri since most were kind of afraid of her. The weather was nice - she wish she could be outside, but she wasn't. She was in a boring old hallway. Saya usually took up a spot against the wall and did her usual thing - try and trip people. She thought it was amusing....but someone was already in her spot. She grimaced, her eyes narrowing. No one ever dared to take her spot - nobody. She had a bit of a claim on it, actually.
The blond haired guy in her spot was counting in a language Saya recognized as French. Approaching him, she stood to face him, hands on her hips, and commanded, "Move." Because she was feeling daring, she added, "Or else." Something about the guy seemed familiar....Oh, where had she seen him before?!

Tamaki was taken back by surprise. No one (except for his grandmother) had ever talked to him like that. He turned around and was surprised once again. He was expecting some big beefy guy, or at least a manly looking girl. But this girl that walked up to him looked perfectly normal. Tamaki smiled and stood up straight, before taking a step back. There.
"I'm sorry, but I think I've seen you before. Are you in class 2-a by any chance?" he asked, trying to start a conversation. In fact, he knew she was in his class. She sat 3 seats behind him. But he wanted to talk and the best way to start a conversation was to start it with a question. That way they had to answer! It was an ingenious plan! But there was one small loop-hole... They didn't necessarily have to answer back. But usually everyone did.

Sayuri smiled, then elbowed him to the left a ways and took up her usual spot, crossing her legs and extending one so that anyone walking a little too close to the window would fall. He was suprisingly light for a guy; she had expected him to be harder to move. She folded her arms, blew a stray hair out of her face, and sighed.
"Yes, 2-A, not that it matters. Thank you so much for *moving* by the way," she said, using a dripping amount of sarcasm on the word moving. Saya knew that was where she had seen him before - when looking towards the back of the classroom; he was three seats behind her. She wasn't much in a mood for conversation but she kind of wanted to talk to him specifically. He seemed....different. In a way she had yet to figure out.

Tamaki slightly stumbled back. She was a lot stronger than she expected. But hey, life was full of surprises. He looked down to see her foot, sticking out just a bit. Oh, that's why she wanted him to move... He thought about saying that tripping people wasn't very nice, but then he decided against it. She could probably beat him up. That wouldn't be good. Although he'd get a lot more customers at the Host Club if he was injured...
"Hmm, though so. We're in the same class! And your welcome!" He said genuinely. Tamaki didn't understand sarcasm, so her words did not offend him. But then again, nothing could really offend Tamaki. "Do you usually come here to trip people? I've never seen you right here before." He said, looking at the other students passing by.
