Haruhi enetered the graveyard. It was a nice and sunny Saturday afternoon and Haruhi had brought a small picnic for herself and some flowers that she bought with a little money she saved over the past few days. They were just a few dasies an a lily or two, but it was fine. One, she couldn't afford a million roses and two, roses were just too...over the top.
She placed the flowers on the grave and sat own, starting the picnic, eating a sandwich. She began to think of what she was going to say. She hadn't visited her mother in a while now. She had some things to catch up on. With a swallow, she looked at the small tombstone in the ground, reading her mothers name again and again. She missed her mother a lot.
"Hey mom, I'm sorry I haven't came lately." She chuckled a bit to herself. "The host club has been taking a lot of my time lately...We've had some really...strange events happening, but they're really...fun to be around some times. I think I've made some really good friends, no matter how goofy they are."
She layed down and started up at the blue sky. "Dads been himself, but he's trying really hard to be good at his job. He comes home late, but I'm fine. Really. Some of the hosts want to buy things for me or give me money to help us out, but I don't need it. I don't care about things like expensive necklaces or fancy clothing. And I don't need their money. We're doing fine, even if the money does get tight every so often."
She drummed her fingers on the soft grass underneath and closed her eyes. It was nice just laying here. It felt so conforting as if her mother was sitting near and protecting her.

Hikaru was walking around, in search of something to do. The strange thing was, he was alone. The two had planned on going and visiting Haruhi but Kaoru seemed to have gotten sick. Hikaru said he would stay with him but his twin insisted that he went on without him. He resisted at first but obviously, Kaoru conviced him to go. So know he walked along the street with hands in his pockets and listening to some music from his headphones.
He had stopped by Haruhi's place but found that no one was home. He called her with his phone, hoping to find out where she was but she didn't answer. He started to worry and decided to search for her. It was quite a search but he couldn't find her.
After a while of searching, he finally stopped and rested about to give up. He happened to be in the graveyard. "Where in the world is she?" He turned off his music and sat down on a nearby bench to think about what he should do next when he heard a familiar voice. Hikaru cocked a brow as he listened, trying to identify who it was. Then he finally realized, bringing a sly grin.
He headed off towards her, following her voice. When he spotted his 'toy', he ran up to her. "Haruhi~!" he called in a childish manner. Finally he wasn't alone!

Haruhi sighed. "I guess you'll get to meet one of them today..." she said softly, under her breath. She sat up and looked around to see Hikaru. It was strange not seeing him with his brother, Kaoru. She gave the host a small smile. She was kind of hoping to spend the day here with her mom, not really expecting anyone to come here. Speaking of "here" she wondered why he was at the graveyard. She couldn't remember the twins having any dead relatives.
He must have been out looking for her...again. She took out the phone -that the twins had given to her so they could keep track of her- and noticed she had several missed calls. Oh well. They were probably all from either Tamaki or the twins. She didn't think the others had any reason to call her. Hunny and Mori didn't call her often, nor Kyouya.
She sat up at look at him, holding her right hand over her eyes, blocking the sunlight behind her eyes. It was a really nice, warm day today. She looked over at the picnic basket. If she had another sandwich she would have offered it to him, but she really wasn't expecting him to come. Or anyone, for that matter. She turned back to Hikaru.
"Hi Hikaru," she said, moving into a cross-legged position. "Is there something you want?" she said, her head leaning to the side slightly.

She didn't seem as happy to see him, despite the smile. But then again she never really did. He had no clue why? Who wouldn't be happy to be around him? Oh well. It didn't bother him too much. Quite frankly it made playing with her more fun. "I have to want something? I can't just visit?" he replied with a playful grin.
"I just wanted to come see you but you weren't home. And when I called you didn't answer. So I decided to go find you." He paused for a second and frowned. "Speaking of your phone. Why didn't you answer? Is it broken or something?" If so, he might have to replace it. That is, if she'd let him. She didn't seem to like it when anyone offered to buy her something. Or help her financially for that matter. He knew she would needed some money. Why she wouldn't allow anyone to help was beyond him.
He sat down next to her. And looked around. Graveyards weren't ever really a good place to hang out. Why was she here of all places? Then he remembered her mother and bit his tongue. 'Oh right...' He looked at her mother's small tombstone and had to force himself to keep his mouth shut. It looked really... small. And unlike others, hers only had a few flowers. Her family must have been really short on cash... He shook his head and tried to get his mind off of it. He wanted to have fun not mourn. "Oh! Kaoru told me to tell you he said hi and sorry that he couldn't come too."
Hikaru's eyes shot to the basket nearby. Golden eyes gleamed with curiosity and he quickly jumped up and went to look at it. "Ooh! What's this?" he asked as he picked it up and looked into it.

Haruhi sighed when Hikaru commented on not needing a reason to stalk find her. Hikaru....reminded Haruhi of a puppy sometimes, following her. And this "puppy" always seemed to make her life just a tad more difficult. Well, at least less difficult that Tamaki always seemed to make it. If she had to chose between the twins and Tamaki, it was most likely going to be the twins. She at least had some fun with them. Tamaki over-dramatized everything.
"Oh, I just had it turned off," she told him, looking back up at the sky, hearing him sit down next to her. A few clouds seemed to budge into the blue sky's space. "Nothing's wrong with it," she said, not mentioning the small glitches it's been having lately of randomly turning off. She had just left it off when she came here. Besides, if she told Hikaru that it was having problems he'd go off and buy her a new one. She didn't need a new one.
"Ok, tell him I said hi, too," she said, still wondering why Kaoru wasn't here. Usually the twins always stuck with each other. She only could remember a few times when the two weren't together.
Then he jumped up and picked up her lunch basket. "That's my lunch basket," she told him, thinking to herself on what else it could possibly be. She blushed a little. "I was having lunch here with my mom," she said. "If I knew you were coming here, I would have made a sandwich for you too," she said, which was a lie. She had ran out of bread at home, but she was planning going shopping tomorrow. Or today, if she had the time, or the coupons. The Sunday paper usually had the best coupons in it...
"So where is Kaoru? Is he okay?"
